NuVeau305.com is a labor of love! I say that because I honestly feel I have found GOD's calling on my life. For a long time I looked at myself, "the messenger" and not "the message". I was imperfect and I knew it. I thought to myself how can I promote or represent One as pure and perfect as JESUS? For many years I struggled because I feared being judged by my fellow Christians. But then I realized I need only turn to The Christ Himself to see that none of His disciples were pristine upstanding citizens. I maybe wrong but I didn't read about a single pharisee or teacher of the law being one of the twelve disciples. I realize that I am one of those JESUS came for. I fall short all the time, but I get back up and keep walking this path.
Being with and near JESUS is where I want to be. So I wanted to create a brand for those who are like me. Those who live wanting to be clean but end up dirty; those who want to stop sinning but fall short and feel awful; those who want to be better for The Christ but mess up; those who know that GOD is so much bigger than any building that we worship in. I wanted to create something that we could be proud of, a brand that represents who we are and what we stand for. Because at the end of the day I feel that clothing and music are forms expression of who we truly are. Each piece of cloth and every single bar is giving everyone who sees you a glimpse into your very soul. Colors, beats, size, melodies etc. all coming together to present who you are without you ever having to say a word.
NuVeau comes from the French word NouVeaux which means new or modern. I think that perfectly captures what we are doing here. We are believers who believe in GOD Almighty, His Love and we trust in the Perfect Work of JESUS The Messiah. However, we know and understand that we are far from perfect. But that doesn't stop the zeal or quench the fire to represent our GOD and Father. Reminiscent of the man JESUS spoke of.
“But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’
“I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God.
